and now for something different

Been playing with 3D rendered objects now that I've found Photoshop CS3 can slightly manipulate them in their own layer. It's definitely different. Angelic Solace was actually a 3D angel put into the forest but it took quite some time to cut, shadow and blend it into the scenery. Hopefully this new technique will prove effective.

It was a piece for a friend. I've been pretty bad at self motivation when it comes to being creative for quite some time so I figured if I were doing it for someone it'd help out (which it did)

Something started going wonky with my pen tool sadly so I was unable to finish the effects like I'd have liked but hopefully I'll figure out what happened and be able to come back to the picture.
